- 01 – Uniform Civil Code (UCC): Implemented on 27 January 2025, making Uttarakhand the first state in independent India to enforce uniform laws across all religions for marriage, divorce, maintenance, and inheritance, curbing social evils like child marriage, polygamy, and arbitrary divorce, with mandatory registration of live-in relationships.
- 02 – Strict Land Law: Enacted the Uttarakhand (Uttar Pradesh Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act, 1950) (Amendment) Act, 2025, prohibiting non-residents from purchasing agricultural and horticultural land in 11 hill districts to prevent misuse.
